Things to do in New York
I have been fortunate enough to have just been in The Big Apple for the fourth time. This city amazes me as everytime I go, I always seem to run out of time. No matter how little sleep I get, how sore my feet are with all the walking I still don't get everything done on my "To Do" List. So in order to help you on your holiday in NYC, here are my top 5 must do things.
1 Visit the One World Observatory. The views are spectacular and if you go at the start of your holiday it will give you a great orientation. There were free talks by the staff who gave you a super insight into the different areas within Manhattan.
2 Ellis Island. When you take the ferry here you will also get fantastic views of the Statue of Liberty and indeed you can get off the ferry here before heading to Ellis Island. Full of history and amazing stories of real people. Would recommend the free headset.
3 Broadway - you must go as it is amazing. Whether you decide to buy your tickets before you go on holiday or indeed once you are there, you will love it. Such talent.
4 Central Park - go for a stroll or a cycle to see all the famous landmarks. It's quite incredible that in such a busy city you can find peace and calmness. Remember to wear comfy shoes as it is incredible how many steps you will walk.
5 Go Shopping - well it would be rude not to! Whether it is in the big department stores, boutique shops or Outlet Malls you will find some lovely souvenirs and gifts.
Remember to take lots of photos, get lots of sleep before you go and ENJOY.
